1150 GSA alarm fault

Does anyone know why my alarm has stopped bleeping when i disarm the alarm,it flashes but no longer bleeps. i set the alarm off a few days ago and juggled with the keys in an attempt to stop it...could i have inadvertantly changed a setting? i think it still works ok. any ideas? What alarm do you have fitted?
I ended up taking the alarm off my bike, when they get part 4/5 years old they are prone to problems.
I didn’t want to get stuck abroad with my bike immobilised.
Lets face it if someone wants to nick the bike an alarm isn’t going to stop them.
My alarm was a Datatool I found this link helpfull.

It's a genuine BMW alarm, and it still appears to work fine, i think. i just wondered if it needs rebooting or similar. not the end of the world i know, but i just wondered if there was a reason/ easy fix? Thanks,Dave

Had the genuine bmw alarm on my 1150 gsa and it had to go

Just get rid of it alarms cause more probs than their worth.
