1150 gsa crud catcher

hi guys,

i,ve bought a 2005 1150 gsa its in the post lol, it hasn,t got a lower front crud catcher in place so after one i had a 1150 gsa for 8 yrs sold it in 2009 so long time ago
back then you could get what you want for it, bit harder now with this new one to me coming
so anybody got any ideas links to get a crud catcher please

Made my own a few month’s ago… I had some aluminium sheet, so trimmed it down and added a couple of p-clips.

paul, thanks mate my bike is on a delivery truck on its way i know theres no crud catcher on it looking at your picture can you give me the lengh and height you have made that plate please

Sorry Rob, I’m not at home at the moment so can’t measure. I just measured the distance from black plastic cover to the sump guard and added a bit to make sure it overlapped. I recall that it was just an off cut of 3mm aluminium sheet I had lying around and it took me an hour to make and fit after I’d got hold of the stainless p-clip and bolts/nyloc nuts/washers

yes to be honest i,m not paying £64 for one when the bike gets here i,ll measure up get a piece of ally off ebay about £7 i,ll get the diameter of that crash bar and get some stainless p clips with the rubber inset, i have loads of stainlees bolts to hand so should be able to make a goodun for a £10

theres a set of crash bars for sale on ebay 296591317080 if you look at the number given for those bars theres a home made crud catcher still attached to the bars and the crud catcher is bolted to the edge of the lower engine bash plate really nice fit that i,ll do it that way to
