Thats quite neat. I've got a migsel mount now, so gouing to give that a go first.
Otherwise i may have a go at making something. Gives you more chice of mounting things on that one.

My ram bar mount works well - nicely in line of sight and doesn't obscure anything...

Sat Nav Mounting

I have today just fitted an old Garmin 2610.

I have fitted it to the handle bar cross bar.

I picked up some small cable clamps and have just mounted them to the back of the Garmin mount.

Not going to be any good with a tank bag but works well for now clear and does not get in the way of clocks or road view.

Will put some photos up if needed.

I also have an old garmin.
Mine is mounted to the bars using a ram mount. Doesn't obscure anything and works fine with a tank bag.
