I have a 2005 GS Adventure SE and noticed the inside of the screen has very noticeable cloudy 'patches' which appeared shortly after purchase. Took it back to the dealer as I believe it is a warranty job. Bike has been washed with Autoglym bike cleaner from new. Dealer said there are no known defects of this nature and they will speak with their autoglym rep as their products had stained a wheel in the past.
Was wondering if anybody out there has had a similar problem with a screen and if so did BMW replace it?
(PS, let me know if I have posted this one in the correct place!)

Same bike and same cleaner , no cloudy patches but lots of marks of huge bugs and tiny little circle type scratches all over . :(

I think the scratches are of sand and dust from our last trip :nenau

Have you ever had wheel cleaner near it , or anything else similar

I mix my bike cleaner 2 to 1 with water , at least .

I remember reading somewhere that petrol splashes on yer screen will make it go cloudy. Maybe youve splashed it while filling.

Dont use the wheel cleaners and the patches appeared after about first thousand miles, would def remember if it was splashed with petrol, although that is what it would remind me of. I wonder if the dealer messed up when it was in for the first service???
