Hi guys,

I've got an '04 GSA on which I currently have an Aeroflow screen. This is pretty amazing at keeping the wind off but has a couple of drawbacks - 1) you get absolutely zero breeze so get very hot in warm weather; 2) it (to my eye) looks rubbish.

I've got the original GSA screen (never used) and have been considering putting it on the bike. Couple of questions:

1) people seem not to rate the standard GS screen and say you need tobinators. Is this the same for the GSA screen? I'm 5'11" so not particularly tall.

2) if it is worth having tobinators with the GSA screen; does the tobinators kit include everything you need to fit the screen to the bike - therefore meaning that the standard GSA screen fittings are no longer needed?

I have no original screen fittings and see that these seem bizarrely expensive on motorworks - so don't want to buy these, find I don't like the screen so get tobinators and discover that the original screen fittings are now redundant and I wasted £80 needlessly.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

Jaimieboy, I have a set of GSA torbinators and fittings sitting on my garage shelf, Where in London do you live? I would be pleased to lend them to you so you can try them out for a few weeks and see if you like the setup. You will need the GSA screen, I have all the fixings. Sorry don't want to sell them though, better than buying the bits and find you don't like them

That's a very kind offer Warmshed - thank you very much. I'm in South London (Upper Norwood) and I work in the centre (near Barbican/St Pauls). Where abouts are you?

J

I had tobinators on my 1150 adv, i'm 6foot made a huge difference once i found the sweet spot which does take a lot of experimentation.
