Does any one know if any company sell a backrest that will fit the Aluminium top box that was an option on the 1150 GSA?

The top box is the one in this picture:

My other half went on the back and was quite happy but would like a back rest.

better again

get a bmw back protector hard shell type usualy black with a yellow rim, get the missus to wear it on the outside of her jacket, it wofks like the high back on a chair very comfy, :thumb

Check any one of the multitude of custom motorcycle parts dealers online.... They do all shapes and sizes...

Thanks for the replys.

Better half not keen on the back protector idea, shame as I think it would be good.

Found a few ideas on Edaby and the net. If I was to screw the protector on I am guessing a little silicone sealer would keep the holes water tight?

Just wondered if there was one that was designed to fit straight on.

I looked into this and you might need a drill. Silicone and a couple of rubber washers perhaps?

Harley owners often use small "off the shelf" pads with rubber suckers as temporary rear seats....

A little blob of 5 minute epoxy on each sucker won't make it leak... But it'll stay nice and solid...?

I like that idea, it could also be removed with out leaving to much of mark.
