1150 horn switch replacement

Did a search and couldn't find anything...

Some one told me there was a thread about how to replace the component for a few pence rather than buying the whole switchgear.

I'm assuming it's the switch as I've had others go due to rather a lot of sand having got in...

should I be checking something else first?

... if you type 'replace indicator switch' into the forum search field then there are a few postings on this. Having opened up my left side switch gear to find the source of my failed left indicators, I guess that replacing the horn switch would be the same ... I still haven't got round to doing mine but must do it as soon as possoble.
