Hi Folks

I heard a rumor somewhere that its possible to replace the original (faulty) fog switch with something that isnt €100 odd euro, i think i heard about something off a 650?? anyone care to shed some light on this? or an alternative

SW Motech do a lovely neat little handle bar mounted waterproof switch that works a treat €25 I think.

You might need to research this a bit more, but I don't think the problem is the switch itself - rather it is the rocker assembly which operates the switch. What you need to do is come up with a way of getting the rocker to close the switch contacts - using a thin plastic shim/spacer. I'm pretty sure a practicable solution has been posted on this forum in the past.

Someone used a strip of milk bottle plastic to solve the problem. I guess any PET bottle would do.
