Just went to top up the oil and the cap spins around and wont come out or screw in. Do I just prize it out and fit a new seal or ptfe tape (looking at other posts) If I do will it pop out when running?
cheers

Sounds like the whole thing is spinning, if your oil is okay it might be worth ordering the new tube/O rings (not expensive) and then taking the head cover off and pushing the assembly out from the inside, they should just pop out with finger pressure.

Does it help if you push down firmly and turn?

Came out eventually with downward pressure while turning. Oiled it up and it works fine, I think. Can't understand how it could revolve 360 one minute but feel o.k. now, is the locating pip(!) of plastic in seat able to come out but back in position now?
Hope it doesn't leak as I'm off camping this weekend, don't really want to take the head off until I check the valves about xmas time.
Thanks for quick reply
Griff

Silicone gasket is ment to stop subsequent leaks.

I must have done it wrong.
