1150 - What should be connected here???

Looking round the bike there is a connector on the right side poppoing out from under the seat.....any ideas what it would/should be for

I believe that it's to do with US market emission controls. Just stuff it back and forget it.

Stuff It Back Carefully Though!!!

Had a problem a few years ago with a fuse blowing - dead short on wire. After a couple of days trying to trace the short - including opening up the wiring loom I finally traced fault to this plug, the wire comiing into it had rubbed through on a frame web just next to the plug.
The plug has +ve 12volts on it all the time the ignition is on - so handle with care

Which might be useful if you were looking for a power source under the seat. Heated jacket anyone?
