Hi just carried out the 18000m service and this is the first time I have done it myself. Mick Barr did the 12000m service for me but sadly he has now retired however he did give me some sound advice including changing the final drive oil every 6000m as there is not alot of it and it does take a pounding. I also changed the gearbox oil and will continue to change both these along with the engine oil and filter every 6000m. It made the gear changing alot smoother (for a Beemer) and along with the manual and vacume gauges it was a doddle to do. God these bikes are brill
