Hi,
Does anyoe know if an 1150gs adventure tank will fit a standard 1150gs without any drilling, filing or other extreme benchfitting techniques?
I know touratech do a larger capacity tank that does but, as the saying goes, even dick turpin wore a mask!! (bit pricey!)

Also, my 1150 has popped out of a higher gear into a lower one (5th into 4th) a couple of times recently under accelleration. Is this something to worry about or just the idiosyncrasies of the panzer gearbox thats fitted?

Cheers

Tanks

AStraight swop no probs you will require a third bit of petrol pipe to go between the two lobes and the fuel gauge will not be accurate so re-set the trip when filling up. You'll never run out of petrol!

I have just completed the conversion.Fitted the 30l tank to my standard GS.
There are no modifications necessary.Straight swap even better with the 30l tank internals.

You've probably got crud in your shift pivot bushing.
A strip/clean and lube usually sorts it out.
