1150gs Gearbox Whine

Gearbox has just started to whine at tick over and goes away if you pull the clutch in! also whining as you are going along.

So think either the release bearing has gone and the out put shaft bearing or one of the mian bearings has given up

Whats the most common fault.?Bike has done 76k
