Hi,

Can anyone recommend a place and a reasonable price for these discs for servo abs equipped Evo brakes. Seen a variety of discs with a wide range of costs. Steptoe's offering were the cheapest but are our of stock I think.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

A lot of 1150 GSA servo bikes were fitted with a "skinny" disc, different to all the other 1100/1150/1200 bikes, which all use the same disc.
I'm not sure if anyone supplies these "skinny" discs apart from BMW.

Moving on a little from my original question, I've read that it's important to check and adjust the ABS sensor on the front disc if the disc is changed. As I don't have dial gauge is there a better 'tried and tested' way of doing it. I was thinking that simply rotating the wheel to make sure that the dap exceed the min/max and call it quits. Does that sound reasonable?

There must be a cigarette paper conversion chart somewhere:D

No need for a dial gauge. You want a feeler gauge. There should be a specific ABS feeler gauge in the toolkit that's supplied just for that job.

As ever, thanks chaps. I've found that my tool kit was missing some stuff when I got the bike so will get another.
