1150gsa front wheel binding

Hi all,


I need to sort this out as my front wheel does rotate freely - it will do about a quarter of a turn. I think the pads are binding so was going to whip them out tomorrow to see what's occuring.

Out of interest how freely should the front wheel spin - one revolution, several etc

retract the pads in both calipers and then see how the wheel spins.
Give it a good tug (ohh err missus) and it should revolve freely for quiet a few turns.
If it does pull the brake lever and retract the pads on one caliper only and see how it spins (the wheel won't spin as quiet as freely with as it would with the pads retracted, this is normal).
Repeat procedure for other caliper to find out if it's one or both calipers causing the binding.
Bearing in mind it could also be a warped front disc.
