Ok, I'm sure this is covered elsewhere but I can' t find it in an easy to access format so I'm asking here.

What is the best "touring" screen for the 1150GS Adventure?

I know about the Parabellum, MRA Vario, Cee Baileys, Touratech Extender and of course the Tobinator but what do you guys have fitted and how do you like it?

I'm 6'4" and wider than the widest thing at a wide convention (wide=fat!) so would love to hear from you 6'4" Adventurers but would also like to hear from any other Tossers out there ;-)

Smooth airflow is paramount but I don't want anything that is going to mess up the stability of the bike at speed.

At the moment I'm leaning towards the Cee Baileys Touring, possibly the Tobinator as well.

Tobinators

I'm only 6'1" However fit the "wide" bit, I use Tobinators which work well for me, It does take some time to get the correct setting of the screen, now its spot on... no more problems for me.

Standard screen + Tobinator

I'm 6'3 and find the standard screen and Tobinator works well for 250-300 mile days along with a BMW Sport Integral helmet (about £195 ) though I'd expect the more expensive System 5 helmet (about £280 ) could be better.

Thanks LongDog. Exactly what I was looking for. So, I may be getting an Aeroflow then,... if the bike deal happens.

Thanks all.

Add a Z-Technik to your list

I have the Z2240 and it it works a treat - especially with Tobinators.

Now, this IS a big screen (pic here), so be prepared for a bit more sensitivity to cross-winds. But if yer a big fella, it's a GREAT screen. I picked mine up on a trip to the US - might be worth contacting Z-Technik and seeing if they will ship to the UK. Although mine is on a GSA, it uses standard GS mounting hardware.
recommended.

Here's a pic of it on my bike (before fitting the Tobinators)...
