Hi all, new to the forum finding the website extremely useful... I recently bought myself an 1150RT 2004 twin spark, 23000 on the clock, I prefer the 1150 over the 1200 on my budget, and I am extremely pleased with it :-) She's due a pair of tyres and wondered what the thoughts of the community were on what i should look for, I've also been told that the tyres would need to be GT, I've never heard of this..all comments and suggestions are welcome...thanks all

I suspect you'll find the recommended choice is...........Michelin Pilot; Conti Road Attack 2 Evo, Dunlop Roadsmart 2, Bridgestone plus several other top brands.
Unless it's some obscure Chinese make, there really aren't any bad tyres out there; it's just finding what suits you.
There are various fittings, & as the RT is a relatively heavy bike, there are variations C- fitting, GT, call it what you will.
The various manufacturers will show their recommendations on their websites, complete with their recommended pressures.
For what it's worth I've used the above makes, & they all been good.:beerjug:
