1150v1200v650?

right then have tried 1150 and 1200, 1200 wins hands down for me but wait  :tears cant afford it yet so had a chat with dealer about r800gs that may or may not come out this year that single sided swing arm one mcn printed hmmmmmmmmmmm not too heavy less beer tokens and as i have ridden the f800s plenty enough poke for me !!!!

what do you say!!

If you wait for that then you better get a bike in the meantime.

Buy an 1100 or an 1150 until you can afford. I'd like a 1200ADV but can't afford so I ride an 1150 and love it to bits. I can go off road without the fear of it costing me a fortune and I think I have got the best of both worlds.

stick with it

I have a 650gs anyway so happy to wait as long as i can stay off MOTORWAYS as it is fine in twisties and a roads:beerjug:

Any piccies? I've searched MCN online but I can't find it

Thanks for posting those Finn - I think I've seen those posted here before. Is that what MCN had shown?

BMW are still denying it's existence. Now that isn't to say it's not coming, but expect it to cost more than a secondhand 1200. I reckon £7500 -£8000 buy the time it's released.

Stick with the 650 if your happy with it and see what happens. Don't hold ya breath though!!!

650

unless i can do a deal between now and whenever ive saved enough beer tokens for the 1200 or 800 i will stick with it may even buy an ex school bike for £6k ish would like to see bmw confirm the 800 as would go for it as that engine is so good and i guess an 800 adventure will be 7500-8500 but dont forget new tyres 2 year warranty against 2 year old gs from 7k no warranty or tyres so i am going to wait might be a long time but hey ho will definatly buy an 08 model if noting happens by then.

Thanks for your comments

:)

you get me to ride across tricky fords for yer:D nope yer right buy an 1150, get into the gs mentality then when yer rich enough buy a 12adv:thumb

which ever way you go you won't regret the gs, i don't. spent my who life riding stupidly fast bikes fast, yet at even half the speed i'd go on my gsxr1200bladeR the gs is a hoot. the other day i gave it full gas and i'm sitting there at 100ish thinking wow this is quick then i remembered the same road 4 years ago was 80mph quicker. i must have been nuts:eek
nope, i love my gs and i'm gonna keep it as i can't think of any bike i'd rather own:clap :clap :clap :clap :clap
