Hi
Have booked a long test ride next week on the 1190 Adventure.
There have been lots of mpg figures quoted, but are there any owners out there who could let us have genuine figures please, based on the milages they have got in already.
Many thanks
Jasper

My mate picked his new bike up saturday and we did the best part of 550 miles sat / sun and his was averaging out at 44 mpg. that was pootling and blasting about.

Only couriers would give a toss what a bike's MPG figures are....and a courier wouldn't be looking at a KTM :nenau

C'mon, seriously? :blast

Just about every bike in the 1000-1200cc range will get 10 miles / litre

1190 fuel

Mine does 50 to 55 keeping it around 80 mph 250 ish to a tank
On the 2nd trip meter it's done 1500 miles and averaged 51.4
The thing is so powerful you don't need to rev it hard it just pulls

rubbish!

i for one, am very interested in what a bike does to the gallon, if its 50 i am happy. when its 30 i am not.
its also important as the tanks are small on bikes compared to cars, and i dont want to have to fill up every day when i use a bike to go to work.

Hi guys
Thank you for the genuine, useful replies.
Mpg has to be a consideration when looking at a new bike these days, and I would be very happy with a return between 45 and 50 ! The bike certainly looks like a GS contender on paper. Look forward to taking it out next week.
cheers

Fuel

I've just filled. It up reset the trip which zeros the mpg at the same time then straight on the motorway computer shows 46 mpg at 90 mph ,back on small roads again the reading is now going ack up .
My mate is on his 1200gsa and filling up the same time and is using the same amount of fuel will check again tomorrow nw we done some motorway work

We are on route to the northwest
