Our little drag race was fairly predictable with Giles easing off ahead. In the real world there's not a huge difference, certainly not £10k's worth anyway

So being serious (for once !) You're absolutely right - there was very little in it. I think the only time an 1190 is going to bugger off in the distance is those long straights where that top end rush starts quickly seeing 110 ... 120 .. 130 ....

......Of course comparing the 1190 with Tunneruk's 950 is a bit pointless,especially when the latter is weighed down with a dozen HIDs, 2 miles of scaffolding and 6 tons of orange paint !!
Now if you compared the 1190 with the tuned motor that KTM dropped into the light weight 950 SuperEnduro...........
