Hello, I have three questions regarding 1190 and would appreciate an answer if anybody has one please!
Can you change the display to read in KM rather than miles in the menu for speed and clicked Milage?
Will there be an upgrade to get cruise for the 1190 in the bear future or presently.
If I was to buy a 2013 model with MSC, is that the only difference from 2014 bike, should I confirm that any particular recalls have been carried out?
Thank you
Regards
Sean

Yes, easily changed to kph.

No idea. Some 'spy shots' of a larger tanked model have been doing the rounds and there is speculation of cruise control. But no one knows for sure. Can't see a cruise retro fit being made available.

There are some differences between '13 & '14 bikes. Those I know off are different side stand (recall for 13 model) and beefed up center stand. Mods to the 14 air box (lots of folk riding in dusty environment complain of dirt getting through). There are software updates and the only way you'll know if a 13 bike has MSC fitted is extra paperwork added to the service book (unless you whack the brakes on while lent over in a corner). There's also been recalls for the oil filler and fuel breather on some bikes. A KTM dealer should be able to tell you of any recall work that has been carried out on any specific bike.

There may be other things I am not aware off.

So Davy, do you have a "Super" confession to share, or is it too early? ;)

Davy f, how come you didn't go for the crosstourer in the end?

The CT is a fabulous machine and in all honesty, I'd buy one before I'd buy a toilet. It may not have the badge, but I know it'd do everything it says on the tin. If I hadn't tested the KTM, a CT would be in my garage right now. But the KTM is such a missile with bags of charm and is sooooo much fun. Nearly 8k on it in a year, and it's a long time since I did those sort of miles on any recent bike I've owned.
