Not on my 07 . If you switch the headlight off, when on the centre stand, with the engine running, it switches on again as soon as the rear wheel rotates, which it does in neutral.

Does this mean it comes on if you push it fast enough? I'll have to try that.

As for the dimming speedo lights. I have to say I did know this, but the other day I was thinking about how non of my other bikes had this. The first two were old enough to have an on/off switch for the lights, so no need, My 750 K4 just had the speedo lit all the time. Never seemed to be a problem, and I barely noticed it.

Have to say I like the fact mine now comes on and off, but TBH it seems more trouble than its worth.
