Hi,
I got a HID kit from Les Wassall of this Parish. Excellent kit, bracket and 4 ballasts and included right angle burners for the fogs and a lead to connect to the original connectors so no modification of fogs or wiring required. :thumb

I have got the headlight/main working OK but the fog's don't work.

Also supplied were two higher rated fuses for the fogs. The instructions said that on my bike, the fuses are under the left hand knee plate. Try as I might, I cannot see where the fuses are.

Have any of the GSA brethren upgraded the fogs and found the fuses? Can you point me in the right direction?

ALAWP:D

Thanks,
Alan

they are under the right hand side of the tank, behind the plastic panel with the bm badge on.

fuses...

They are shown in the manual.

On my bike... Stand at the front of the bike facing the headlamp, look on the inside face of the right side of the tank, its a small black box.

Roughly opposite the recess/hole where the charcoal cannister sits in the USA models (and where some people store oil).

Roger.

Later bikes have the fuse holder located under the left black plastic side panel below the aluminium tank panel

:blast I didn't think of looking in the manual. Some people are just too clever.

I found the page, I was looking in the correct place, just didn't now what I was looking for. I will have a look on the bike in the morning. Should now be successful.

Thanks,
Alan

Oh dear. Seems you need a manual to tell you to refer to the manual.

Some folks eh?

:-)
