Just bought a 57ate 1200 adv
With one anyone no if they are chipped? Hi

The chip in the Key is coded to the ECU this is done via the EWS (Ring Antenna) which is fastened to the ignition barrel.
The EWS is not coded to the ECU it just relays the signal from the chip in the key to the ECU.
