1200 best selling trailie?

Just had a flyer through from SPC, in which they claim that the 1200 GS is the bestselling trailie above 1000cc. Er, I wonder how they calculated this one (lies, lies, statistics???). The 1200 GS has only been on the market for a few months and can hardly have outperformed the 1100/1150GS, and to calculate only this year's sales (when the 1150 was discontinued) is seriously massaging the figures, or is it ?

1200 best selling mc !!

One of the mags I've just finished reading (can't remember which one) said that the 1200GS was currently the best selling mc (not only trailees) over 1000cc in the UK

To claim the 1200 is outselling a bike that isn't available any more doesn't seem dishonest to me - more like "bleeding obvious"
