me too.

Just a question, how many bearing are in there? I guess there must be a big one at the tubular axle of the wheel and maybe a couple at the spot where the shaft meets the crown.

four bearings in total 2x crown wheel,2xdrive pinion,the crown wheel bearings are reletively easy to replace, its the pinion bearings that need a little bit more expertise and special tooling.mike

Does anyone know, what is the reason they are getting damaged so easy;

Is there a way to short the problem once and for all;

I thought it was only one deep grooved bearing (6013 2RS).....which one is the other;

I believe it is a Double sealed rubber bearing.
