1200 gs 07

a very good evening
wonder if any gs owners can throw any light with this problem
07 reg 1200gs bike starts and runs perfect engine warms up and 20 mins later all cuts out ignition lights but no indicators no cranking from the starter motor
battery voltage good
disconect battery terminals leave 2-3 mins reconect all good starts up and runs fine all day

apparently it's a software update problem and a modification is required if that helps anybody with a similar problem
