Went to Canada Heights (Swanley) for the opening round of the British Moto Cross (Scrambling-for those of you who remember Arthur Lampkin,Dave Bickers etc)today -invited by a work colleague. Left Tamworth @ 08.40,arrived @ 10.40,including fuel stop at the Total Garage @ A12/M25.The GS went like a Dream,albeit a THIRSTY one,but i suppose holding 80-90 mph does that ! Place was full of spotty Herberts with back-to front caps,pointing fingers and saying "Yo,HARRRDCORRRRE" whatever the Hell that's all about.One piece Alpinestars Leathers,Sidi Couriers and Arai Tourcross lid -with Flash Paint Job-,Did i look like a fish out of water,or WHAT?
The Supermoto'd GS broke the ice,and i got some favorable comments,and had some banter with some KTM SM riding www.Visordown types.Racing was good so not a bad day out at all.
Can't say as i will be going again soon though !
