I don't know about any of you, but I find that the sidestand on my LC (standard suspension - not lowered) doesn't have enough "forward" throw and doesn't let the bike "lean" enough (compared with the pre-LC) so I ALWAYS now park it in gear (sensible in any case) but have to be extremely careful of ground slope when it is loaded. I remember the Baron von Grmble test ride video of a few years ago when he test rode one, parked it, and it rolled off, decked and cracked the cylinder head.
Is this a common complaint (or is it just me)? and if so, is there an after-market sidestand that cures this?
Thanks
