Going to the NEC to give the Megamoto a good look over.I checked with Pidcocks about trading my 06 GS 12 and it will cost me the thick end of £5K...OUCH.Thing is,the GS is more than i need so the HP may be a better bet.

I'm not sure how they gave you a price,as the BM guys at the NEC show didn't know the price of the Megamoto when I went last week.
All they could say was that it would be a similar price to the HP2.
I must say that it looks stunning.Even more poke that the HP2 and obviously much lighter than the GS so should go like stink
But I think it should come with carbon cylinder head covers as standard.
Apart from that I really like it. (Yes,I did say that,Tsiklonut !!)

Why? The HP is more powerful and weighs even less. It looks like a great bike and I'd certainly love one however if your 1200GS is more than you need you should be looking at a 650 and not the HP2MM.
AFAIK no official price for the MM has been announced yet - some speculation on it costing less than the HP2, although I doubt it's true.

Megamoto price
The price for the Megamoto will be 12.750. However, this figure isn't set in stone. So 12.850 it is!

Saying that, if money was no object I’d sign up for an HP2 megamoto tomorrow

Well i'm STILL mulling over what to do.The Mega Moto does look nice and i would probably use it more than my GS purely on Grin Factor.The 650 Moto is nice but i've done the Big Single thing and though they can be fun,they have their limitations.It may well go down to a coin toss.It may go down to how much cash i have left after my ZRX 1200 has had its' new Billet clutch and generator covers and the Ti wheel,steering head and swinging arm spindles. . . . . . .

I would like to rub one down with salt and polish with brake fluid. Well not worth the money... Good old BMW... they may as well price their bikes at 20k a lump, cos there is many a numpty that will pay it. gawd help us!

Sadly, I don’t so........ You can pick up a rockster on ebay for about 3K if you’re lucky – the megamoto is good but it’s not 4 times as good.
Too logical and boring and sensible....stay away from me...I want one and I want one now ...
