1200 GS to buy or not to buy

I have owned several GS 's and an Adventurer over the years and after a 12 month break without a GS I'm thinking of buying another one. I always shyed away from buying a new model too soon after the probs with my first 1100 GS. So I'm after people opinions on the 1200 GS good or bad. Has anyone done any serious mileage yet? Is the 1200 any more comfortable that my old adventurer? and lastly what's the lowest that you can get the seat height down to, as it would make life a lot easier if the wife could ride it as well.

The lowest seat height is achieved, strangely enough, by purchasing the low seat option. Might one enquire as to madame's inside leg measurement......? My lady wife is 5' 6" and she can manage to ride mine with ease but then she's a confident rider and has been doing it for a long time.

The wife's inside leg measurement is 30" and like your wife mines a very confident rider. I appreciate your comment about the low seat option but didn't know if the aftermarket offers better options the BMW.
