Hi, just picked up my new GSA and the first thing I did was to rotate the bars down a couple of degrees..........then of course I read the manual that syas you should not adjust the bars as it can allow air into the clutch & brake hydraulics! Come on - can this be true....what about when going up and down hills?

What's the verdict folks?

I've had the bars on my 1200 rotated back and down for getting on for 12K miles without any problems. The only downside is that they're not so good for riding standing up.

I had mine rotated forward for about 10k miles with no problem.
If the fluid reservoir is pretty level I don't see a problem.
