Anybody know the operating parameters for the sat nav plug on the headstock? Amps capability and when does it come on and when does it turn off? i was thinking of using it for a pair of 10w led drls TIA.
The sat nav plug goes off after about 30 seconds as it is canbus controlled.
If I was going to use it to power anything other than a sat nav I would use it to trigger a relay and use a fused feed from the battery through the relay to the device.

5 Amps is about 50 watts (allowing some leeway) so a pair of low power daylight LEDs will be no problem.
But the can bus stays on for quite a while after ignition off so you are probably better tapping into the rear power outlet or tail light and using a relay.
The relay won’t confuse the canbus bulb fault circuits and allows other stuff to be connected when the time comes.
