Lo chaps and chapesses.

Hopefully should collect my new GSa (with comfort and dynamic packages) within the next couple of weeks.

So far I have these on order as I think they are necessary:

(Broken lenses cost lots and the whole screen used to light up on my 04 GS)

(Protection for the rear shock and battery)

(Standard lights are close to useless)

Is there anything you would suggest I get as a matter of course, cos it is "necessary", not because its "nice to have" ?

Ta. :)

New springs? Ohlins or like.........

1 x Back box for carrying spares:

1 x Final drive
1 x EWS Antenna
1 x Fuel pump controller.

Seriously, should stop you being held up with any breakdowns. If it is just for pleasure, your BMW Assist card and mobile.

your BMW Assist card and mobile.

Exactly, making none of the above necessities, more "nice to have if you can afford them".

I'm more on about stuff like "without this protector this bit WILL get broken/badly scuffed/cost you money" type things. :)

:) I've got this...
Fuel line protector.. and a TPS shield...

the only other thing I'm considering is an oil cooler grill...it looks vulnerable....but no stones so far.,
just remember Sean tho !

Are they vulnerable then?
Any links mate?

I tried pics but they wouldn't link.....
the fuel lines or rahter the connectors are right on top of the intake/carb mounts and it wouldn't take a lot especially in a dismount to fek one...then it wont go !

the TPS is LHS and sticks out...again it appears (to me) to be vulnerable....
and Brodders had a TPS thingy on his BM thingy in Scotchland..so I had to have one as well on MY BM thingy !;)

links in a min...

Christ, you and Broders with BMWs.:eek
That's gonna keep Tourabling busy isn't it? :D

Yeah they work, ta.
Not sure them's a necessity tbh.
Deffo never saw the need before.
Probably more so if I was gonna be stupid enough to take it offroad. ;)

or fall off it in a welsh car park cos stumpy legs won't reach the ground....:augie

I'd like to say it'll never happen...but I don't want to tempt fate....
Don't be so stupid.
Of course it will never happen.:spitfire

You are never gonna fit a GSa on that piddly little truck. Gonna need something far more heavy duty. ;)
