In a Powder /or / plastic coat ,, NO. Bare Alluminium yes . With the Usual everything
covered in Alloy dust consequence. In Two Pack Yes , but then it wont last.
This is plastic coated as above , its V.Durable.
What about Pannier Gray ?.
Just a Straight One with no Cut outs is a LOT cheaper too !.
The CNC Mob have a lot to answer for !

Like it in black, is it watertight? where is the little locking hook (for want of a better word), not fussed about the cut out's, unless they are for bungee cords, even then they wouldn't need to be so many, say 4, look forward to your reply, and a cost inc postage to the UK, cheers Dusan
p.s. what about creating a bigger one, say 3" higher to contain autocom etc with out removing tools etc? just a thought, cheers agin DM

I am not sure what you mean by Watertight ?
Yes there is a wee Knob bit.
Silver Anodised aint a big deal , it basically boils down to
The Plastic coater = 10 Miles
Anodiser = 90 Miles

It attaches in exactly the same way and can be removed
with your Key.
Of course the Best Mount for it is a Caja Sahel Top Box , which can ,,,

I'm already interested in one. Black plastic coated would be ok. I hope it will fit a 2011 R1200GSA. Mounting points seem to be the same.

Almost ordered the plate with bag from Touratech, but only would need the plate. Now I can use my old photo tankbag to mount on your plate.

Let us know as soon as they go in production. Any indication of price?
