Hi All,
Spent a little time yesterday fitting Remus headers to my GS, and all went pretty smoothly, but the bit I couldn't figure out is where the two O2 sensors unplug so that I could get a ring spanner over them. I ended up 'pre-twisting' the wires before I re fitted the sensors, but due to the different positions on the sensors in the new pipework (they are closer to the pots on the Remus than on the OE headers) when you have enough twists, the sensor wires have been shortened by the twisting and don't reach the ports on the headers. Consequetly the sensor wires are a bit twisted when the sensors are fully tightened, and I don't really want to leave the wires under tension.

So... Where do they unplug so that I can get a ring spanner over the sensor, properly tighten them, then re connect the wires without any twists in them. I couldn't find where, and didn't want to force anything.
Please Help (I've already tried the Search function but to no avail)!!!
Many Thanks,
Dave.

Hope this helps, took the photos from the BMW repair CD, it show where the connectors are, but does not show how they come apart. My guess is that there is a tang that needs lifting slightly to allow the connector to slide apart?

The connectors are labelled 2 and 3, the instructions are to cut the cable tie labelled 1 and to separate the connector.
