1200GS suspension

Anyone fitted GSA suspension to a regular GS? Is it easy to do?

Not carried out the modification but changing shocks is relatively simple (apart from getting the upper mounting nut on the front shock off, it needs a power tool to spin it free).

While swapping the GS shock for the GSA has no implications I'm not sure about doing it the other way round as the GSA has longer travel in the fork tubes to cope with the longer shock.

you're right, good point. Will have to check that out with the workshop manager when I take the bike in for a service.

i suspect you'll need longer stands too, as is the case with the 1150 GS/GSA.
