Does anyone have the 1200GSA metal panniers fitted to a 1150GS using the Holan rails? If so, is anyone using a Givi Maxia 52 topbox with this setup?
I'd really like to get a set of these but I need to be able to use a Givi Maxia 52 topbox at the same time. While this is not a problem with Zegas and others it looks to me that the Holan rails mount the 1200GSA panniers higher and so the topbox may not fit above that height. If that's the case then I need to know whether there is enough space between the panniers for the topbox still to "nestle" in there.
Could anyone give me the measurements of a) the distance between the 1200GSA panniers when mounted on these Holan rails and b) the height of the top of the panniers above the standard rear luggage rack on a standard (not ADV) 1150GS (or I guess from the rear light or any other common reference on either standard or ADV)?
