Look at the front part of the side protection bar in all the pics. Its all blurred as if its badly photoshopped. Just wait until the weekend and we can see what BMW say themselves.

Side protection bars still look like more of a nod to fashion than actual protection which is a pretty brainless exercise no doubt led by marketing artisty types. What's the point of sticking a cantilevered protection bar over the most vulnerable part of the engine, and in such a way as to prevent the valve cover being removed at that? Not impressed, just as I wasn't with nine. May eventually get round to changing them.

Fact. A new headlight/ beak would have been nice though.

They've modified the drive shaft rubber gaiter. It sits much higher now to avoid the shaft.

+1 same here

For me my 2018 Tb is perfect for my use. Ive added all the fangles i want, got it riding & looking just as i like it. Ive not hilltopped mine as, for me, it has enough power etc & ive never once thought "i wish it was faster/smoother" etc.

Im sure the new 1200 GSA is lovely but there is nothing about it different enough to make me think i need to change. Think i may hang on to mine for a while. It was the perfect bike for my Swiss trip this year & will be again next year.

I’m not ready to change and would like to avoid the problems associated with being an early adopter.

Sooner it’s launched the better IMO, then we can see what features and changes it has, I’m still not convinced by GSAP or keyless but the TFT dash and hill start assist are good.

Just noticed there’s no red, that me out :D

Yeah yeah :blagblah

Wait until it’s launched, then you’ll both weaken!:rob:D

Mines going back to BMW in just over a week for new shaft and final drive under Warranty, it's having Hill Hold Assist activated while there.

I'm about to take delivery of all the BMW Tools to check Valve and Cam alignments as I've done 12000 miles on it.

Spent a small fortune getting to how I like it.. so it my trusty steed and I'll keep it for another 12000 miles at least.

Reason the R1250 upgrade is not on my agenda at the moment, isn't because it's a good bike.

But my £6500 is paying off my Africa Twin from it's PCP shackles in 2 years time.

I'd rather have two nice bikes :D

Can you imagine the state your GSA will be in, in another 2 years?
