1250 GSA spotlight bracket

Not sure if this is the correct page to post so my apologies if so.....

I bought a second hand lighting bracket for my R1250GSA but before I start stripping down the bodywork to fit it I wonder if someone could confirm I have the correct one, photos attached.

I guess without measurements (mainly between the mounting bolts) it’s hard to say if it’s right. Having said that - you should be able to see the mounting points under the nose so you can check the fitting dimensions yourself.

Thanks Andrew, that shows it clearer than the images I found. I'll offer it up and see how if it fits.

Apologies for the delay in responding, but its not easy to tell unless youve got one of each side side. I tried to use a GS version on my GSA, couldnt do it without hacking the bracket about.

Hi not sure what age you GSA Is, I have just got a 24 Reg GSA and the bracket will not fit that Model. BMW have changed the frame work under the beak it is now a plastic assembly with no aluminium die cast frame that the bracket used to bolt to, I had the same bracket on a 2020 GS worked fine but not on my GSA which I wanted too but as you have not mentioned the age I cannot fully answer your question it may on the older models.

Hi Steve, thanks for your reply.
Mines a 2019 model, I’ve just fitted it but it’s tight up against the panels. It might be that it’s designed like that but as I bought it second hand I wasn’t sure. The bracket is angled and I’ve fitted it with the angle out to the front of the bike, if that makes sense. I’m away till Monday so can’t show photos yet unfortunately.
