1250 to 1300-Is it worth the upgrade ?

No I am not back far from it just playing with my phone after a day of downtime…Still 2 weeks in mexico enjoying sunshine and fun roads wishing for more power and a slightly bigger tank and that dreaded wobble at 120 plus would go away…LOL
As Jack Nicolson said ' you couldn't handle 120 '.....km maybe on your computer chair....

Shineyface…You obviously dont know me…LOL I am with Stick…Its only money and life is short and you cant take it with you when the fat lady has sung…But to answer Arseys question probably not worth the upgrade yet…Some issues still have to be addressed to make the upgrade worthy…!

Firstly, at Ieast I can spell your name correctly !......money is not the issue as I currently have three bikes on average covering 14k to 17k socially a year.....I have spent a motorcycling lifetime with some self confessed super motorcyclists ! those that are properly trained and unassuming are the ones to admire...... you need one of the ' I'm not a robot boxes to tick' as most people on here are as sceptical as I am....... I await the AI response.......

Curious to know what you think that is then. Looks like dive to me. Tom Daly would be proud of that.
The 1250 will do the same , he was on /off the throttle , pumping the brakes etc as to make the bike move . I think your over thinking it as its a promo shot , the new one still has the same front end , just better have a search on the new system , its moved on.

It's dive all the same. I'm not overthinking anything. He's not doing such a god job of promoting it.

its called having a bit of fun .
Wow, all my life I thought riding smooth was fun. I must reassess my riding, go on/off throttle and break in bend it’s the way to go. 👌🤪

Did you read the link .....and have you ridden one ? I could do the same on a 1250 , its called having a bit of fun .
No and No, and I didn't mention a 1250 either. I just said it looks like dive to me.

This discussion happens every time a new model gs/a comes out , would I buy a newly released BMW bike in the first 12 months of introduction ?

No , I've been bitten in the a*se and ended up a BMW Beta tester once before and never again

I bought a 2019 r1250gs….early in their lifetime.
it was fabulous, no problems whatsoever……
maybe I was lucky

I got one of the first at the end of 2018. 5 years and 30000 miles absolutely trouble free. If the new bike is as good i'll be very happy.
