Enjoy your new bike.
Did you get the KTM luggage? If so do you know the volume of the top box and panniers?

I didn't. Should I have?
You probably want the (carbon) frame infills, the rear header has no jacket (not sure why because the GT and the T does) and throws quite a bit of heat out.
I see on the configurator there is a luggage package but it doesn't give details?

All that does is show what's included not further details
Although I have found out the panniers are 36 + 30 litre, not sure about top box still?
Monty,
On my old 1190S I have the Givi Trekker Outback Panniers (KTM Branded) and they are very big - allegedly 48L and 37L - but the inner bag from my 37L SW Motech boxes is noticeably smaller than the box all around - maybe Italians have bigger Litres than the Germans?
The problem with any boxes on the KTM is they are relatively wide, even the KTM plastic ones stick out further than fully open Vario pannier on a GS so filtering becomes a bit tricky....
...my metal ones jut out a inch or two further each side - the bike is about the width of a small car with the Givi's fitted, but I figured if filtering was going to be difficult I would rather have plenty of room for our stuff.
I think the 30 / 36L is plenty for solo use, and I have done a long weekend just using the Givi Top Box, for solo "lads" trips I plan to just strap a roll bag on to the back seat, when travellin with the Mrs on longer trips the big panniers are excellent and it means we can keep our top boxes almost empty to chuck our helmets / sat-navs in when we stop.
I have seen some nice looking metal ones on here that follow the shape of the exhaust and may give a bit more space than the plastic jobbies without being any wider which is what I would prefer.

Thanks Arsey. I think they would be the option I would choose too, having looked at a few alternatives.Bumots waiting to go on mine![]()

Now, I do like the look of those. Would they fit to last seasons 1190?
