No idea if a Meta alarm can be DIY fitted? But there is some system integration as it illuminates and flashes a red LED on the screen when armed, so I expect the feature would have to be enabled in a dealers?
As with the heated seats there's a loom plug provided ready. It just needs enabling.
Mine is situated away from the obvious under seat position... shh...it's in a secret spot!

(BTW, there's no room under the seat for storage anyway!)

If it's anything like a superduke it plugs straight in and yes, it does work the led in the instrument screen
But, unless they're fitted by a dealer you won't get a thatcham cert.
