Software versions ?

Hi guys, I get the same story over here in South Africa, "<I>there is no new software or fuel mapping available!</I>".

Does anyone have version numbers for any software updates ?

Is the fuel mapping a seperate piece of software, if so, what is this version number ?

Looking at the R1200GS Wiring diagram.....

The BMS-K Module is the Engine Control Module. This is the main 'brains' of the entire bike, with the fuel map in it.

The I ABS is the Integrated ABS module which also operates some of the instrument cluster functions related to ABS.

The ZFE Module is the BMW factory alarm unit controller.

12 to 24 hour clock

Did I read somewhere that the clock may be switched to 24hr display with the diagnostic tackle?

Just had my dealer change my clock to 24 hours (no charge). Simple three step process which I got from this site. Needs the BMW Computer to do it. Do a search on 24 hour clock and you'll find it.

Interesting that the ZFE is the alarm controller. Mine's been updated although I don't have one!

I suppose it must be just the control part?

Just had the 10,000K service and asked for update - told oz imports have different spec brains and can't be updated. (sounds like a lot of crap to me).
