I've ridden both but not back to back and the GSA test was in bad weather. Tomorrow I'm riding both (after already putting a deposit on a GSA but now I'm just not sure).
I took my 1150 (standard) to Skye last BHM and it was fab - pinned to the stop for mile after mile (sometimes) and of course I have no good reason to sell it (just 3 year itch) - had a swap for a while with my mates Ducati ST4 and Im not going down that sort of route again
(but he might go GS

Even with panniers my GPS was reading 123mph and I loved it, so I thought maybe I'm after something lither and more sporty after all (which would mean the standard bike)
But the A just seems to have more character - It was only after I decided against an A last time and bought the standard one that I found that shorter seats were available for it.
So anybody tried both and then plumped for one and why? Also anyone bought an A with a standard GS seat in place of the A one? (and so not incurred extra cost)
