Just been quoted £1200 inc tyres.
This suggests you might have booked it without knowing the cost. Or have you set aside the 10th of June, specifically to enquire?
The spreadsheet could further be expanded and filtered to cater for franchised dealers (or ‘stealership’ to use the popular expression) and independents, up to and including “My mate, ‘cos he is well good and I like trust him and stuff”.

With a cavalier attitude like that, we can anticipate that the OP’s quest might well fall, if not at the first but soon after. You are driving up costs and should be ashamed.
How much of that was for the tyres? I'd be interested to know what a BM dealer charges for tyres as I'd always assumed it would be top dollar. I use a mobile service who fit at home inc wheel removal/refit, balance and old tyre disposal and their prices are competitive with internet tyre supply only prices

Sensible. I had the same view when I had a BMW. Of course, living 2 miles from one of the better dealers in Cheltenham meant there was little incentive to look elsewhere. Maybe if Dick Lovett offered to do it for free, I might have ridden to Bristol ... life is not quite so simple now I am in Mid Wales, stuck in the middle of a triangle from three relatively distant Moto Guzzi dealers.
