12Volt supply??

Just a quick question.Am i ok to just plug into my 12volt socket near starter motor with my battery charger to charge battery on bike(2004 1150gsa)?Have been told i can do this but thought i would just check first.Dont want to blow all my fuses.

Yes, it's wired direct to the battery, via a fuse, so no canbus faff like the 1200's have

If its a trickle charger then yes, wouldn't try it with a quick battery charger/jump start thing.

Ok thanks for that.Next question-where can i get the small type 12volt male bit to plug into the smaller female hole fitted to my bike(3 of)???Tried the normal plugs but they are to big

Nippy Normans or virtually any electrical supplier, even John Deere tractors (apparently) use the DIN plug or even: http://www.sailgb.com/p/12v_universal_plug_with_8a_fuse/
