13 Plate F700GS - gathering interest and help please

Evening all,

Okay so I love my bike I really do. However its dawned on me that I actually need to move out and get my own house... So looks like something has to give.


I bought my F700GS brand new from Williams in Manchester in March. Theres not a mark on it and its ready to go!

Spec:
1400 miles on clock
1st run in service complete

13 plate
Grey
Factory lowered
Low seat
Pannier rails
ABS
On board computer

Optional extras I could leave on or sell:
Akro exhaust
Vario panniers (used once)
Hand guards
Garmin 660 with mount and wiring etc

Now I dont know how best to sell this, or what its worth really. Is there any kind sould out there willingnto help me price the bike, extras and bike with extras or offer any advice please?

Well start by having a look on MCN and you'll see dealers selling similar bikes for between £7200 and £7495. So there's your starting point.

So now you need to put your price on it and pictures are always useful to lure the Tosser in and tempt him to part with his hard earnt

Yeah what polecat said. Pictures will always help someone to sell their bike if they really want to. UKGser doesnt exactly make it easy to get pics on here compared to some other sites, (maybe a gentle nudge to site owner(s) to sort it out and let us load proper pictures) but there you go. If you really get stuck I would be happy to resize and stick your photos on here for you if you want me to. Just PM and I'll do the rest. Anything to help out a fellow tosser......Well ALMOST anything........

If I was selling this 'bike....FWIW....

Put the whole thing right back to standard and advertise it as ‘Bog Standard’........An absolute MINIMUM would be to refit the standard exhaust, and remove the Garmin kit.

Standard sells, and so do second hand farkles......

I am on this now, just about to post a proper listing. Due to not being at all handy with a spanner the pics will incude the exhaust and garmin mount, but will remove before the sale (unless of course the buyer opts for them!)
