PS. It’ll never look as good as a Goldwing tour anyway.

Do you keep the sheep skin on in the rain or you take it off? If you do how fast it dries out.
I have a big sheepskin on my Wing and when parked in the rain I just cover it with an old waterproof jacket…kept it reasonably dry during my 6,000 km Iberian circuit ended Saturday, which was notable for its raininess.Do you keep the sheep skin on in the rain or you take it off? Aah, yes….a pretend Goldwing , without the armchair

As I ride my Wing about 70% solo, seems a tad pointless to bolt a Parker Knoll to the rear and make a heavy bike even heavier, and ruin any aerodynamic properties it might have .Aah, yes….a pretend Goldwing , without the armchair![]()
I just keep it on, it dries pretty quickly if the sun comes out, but obviously stays wet if its raining. These bikes have heated seat though, so wet bum or cold is never an issue when wearing gortexDo you keep the sheep skin on in the rain or you take it off? If you do how fast it dries out.
Cough - nearly spilled my beer on that one

Good - yes, better - nah![]()
I did try the wing before I bought a K1600GA. The Wing was ok, but just too sedate for me, it felt ponderous and had little suspension travel as I grounded it over a hump on the test ride! I'm sure it's a cracking tourer, which is what it's designed for, but it just doesn't do it for me as an all round bike.Well, I’ve owned both and imho the wings the one

Sedate ? Guess you never tried Sport mode then or twisted the throttle to the stop .I did try the wing before I bought a K1600GA. I sold the GA after two years as it was just too twitchy at 70mph+, which was an issue when doing continental trips, and then bought the RT pictured, which is great for both distance and 100 mile runs out on the weekend.
Good luck with your Wing, it's a lovely bike, and although not for me, I do appreciate it![]()
