Never had the urge to 'upgrade'?
Ive had mine for nearly 13 years now (only the second new bike I ever bought). I remember trying the 1200gs when it first came out in 2004, it was nice but didnt bowl me over as a great leap forward.
Heres to your next 15 years :beerjug:

Upgrade? To what? :D

If I won the lottery tomorrow I'd still ride the same bike :beerjug:

Thank you Mike, sadly part of my journey now has to be on the straight and narrow ....... unlike earlier days:green gri:D

Tell ya what Tim, that young girl is more than happy to get her hands around ya helmet, look at that smile.

Bet Jimmy Saville was never shown a set of pearls like that :D

Well done Tim, just keep rolling along.

(Is that a 1000 yard stare, or are you just lost and screwing your eyes up in a vain hope of spotting a sign post in that barren landscape?)

The light's on but no one's home mate, it's a 1000 yard stare :D

Been like that for the last 15 years .....

You're a couple of years ahead of me - I got my first 1150 in 2002 (I think) and haven't owned a different model of bike since. I've had 3 1150s in total and had lots of fun on them over the last 13 years including everything from hardcore trails to the occasional big trip. I've ridden most bikes on demo rides - almost everything from BMW and most of the GS competitors but the 1150 is just good enough at everything to justify not moving!! Sticking for the time being:thumby: Great bikes:cool:

Well, only one year behind, "declared new, 1st registered 10/3/2001" still got the same bike, can't see a reason to change (unless I get too aged/infirm to ride it!:rob)
Cheers:beerjug:John B
